3 - Another beautifully made bronze medal, this time from San Marino (the republic of San-Marino is an independant state near Florence, in Italy).

The medal was struck by the government and dated December 20th 1970, to celebrate Beethoven's 200th birthday.

Guildo Verio created this medal, and it was manufactured by Stefano Johnson, Roma.

Exists also in silver...

Reverse is inscribed with a selection of scores and a raised abstract image of a bird.

There are also a platin, a gold and a silver medal.
