Trait Beethoven, by French sculptors of the XIXth century

Some XIXth century sculptures of Beethoven - all information on these busts is most welcome :

- Jean-Pierre Dantan (Paris 1800 - Baden Baden 1869) a.k.a. 'Dantan le jeune' created a bust of Beethoven in 1868; his "Portraits chargés", caricaturist sculptures are renowned; here is a picture of this bust (private collection);

- Jean-Joseph Perraud (1819-1876) also created a bust around the same time;

- Eugène Guillaume (Montbard 1822 - 1905) sculpted a splendid bust of Beethoven in marble, which is currently in Denmark; his numerous works have always been highly recognised;

- Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse (Anizy-le-Château 1824 - Sèvres 1887) created a bust in 1863 of which the only examplaire is at a museum in Saint-Petersburg; he organised replicas of his own works in his own workshops;

- Cyprian Godebski (Mery sur Cher 1835 - Paris1909) created busts of Bach and Beethoven for the Count Roumiantzeff at Mousou; he also sculpted several famous Polishmen;

- Auguste Rodin (Paris 1840 - Meudon 1917) sculpted, in 1874, a medallion for the great porch of the Royal Conservatoire of Brussells; colleague of Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, he was rejected by the school and then the academy of 'Beaux-Arts' before finally being given recognition for his incredible works;

- Pierre Félix Masseau know as Fix-Masseau (Lyon 1869 - Paris 1937) created a bust of Beethoven in 1902, that had been realised by Colin's workshop...

- Dalma Bogomir (? - ?) was a painter and a sculptor in Montmartre. He made a bust that use was shown at the "Salon de Paris". A postcard of this bust has been edited.

Trait Beethoven's Symphonies by Ringel d'Ilzach

There exists a series of 9 sculptures represention Beethoven's symphonies.

They were realised by Jean Désiré Ringel d'Illzach (born at Illzach, Alsace, on the 29th of septembre, 1849 - died at Strasbourg on the 28th of July, 1916). He studied with François Jouffroy and Alexandre Falguière at the Beaux-Arts, Paris, and with Ernst Jules Hähnel at Dresde (who realised the statue of Beethoven at Bonn).

Who is this sculptor and where are his works? I don't know... Do you?
